Trishuli River is one of the most popular destinations for first time rafters. It is also called as an ultimate beginner’s river. It is an excellent river for those looking for a short river trip, without the huge challenge but really very exciting and smooth river trip. It is located just 3-4 hours’ drive from Kathmandu and very near for those who are en route to Pokhara or Chitwan National Park.

River Rafting is an adventure outdoor sport which uses a flat floating raft to steer a river for travelling across water. River rafting is considered as the second most sought outdoor thriller after trekking in Nepal and is very popular. The best time for rafting is from mid-October to December and March-May. During Monsoon the water rapids are too dangerous, and rides are more challenging but the river is open for rafting through-out the year unlike other rivers. There are different exciting rapids named as Teendevi, Monkey rapid, Snail’s nose etc. which will make the ride more fun and exciting.
