Everest panorama Trek is very popular trekking trail in Everest region, which offers the splendid panoramic views of many Himalayas. Everest panorama Trek is easy trek compared to some of other treks, but takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery of altitude 3850m.  It is also known as Tengboche trek, an introductory Everest hiking trip. Though this is a short trek, it’s very scenic trek offers really superb view of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, and many other beautiful snowy mountains.

We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip with spectacular views of the mountains upto Khumbu region and hike to the Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar (3440 meters) which is an unofficial capital of the Sherpas exploring Phakding and Manjo following the Dudh Koshi valley. This trek is a great introduction to Sherpa caste and its culture with great mountain views and the vigorous villages with ancient monasteries are captivating and encourage explorations. The welcoming Sherpa people whose hearts are life-size and their hospitality will enchant your memories for a lifetime.  During the trekking period you will get a great opportunity to explore and experience the lifestyle of culturally rich Sherpa people and their helpful nature that possess an outstanding skills of climbing the mighty snowy mountains. The 'Saturday Market' at the bottom of Namche bazar is interesting for every tourist to get a chance to socialize with local products and shopping.  For the Panoramic view trekkers, spring season (March to May) and autumn season (September to December) are the best time. However, this trekking is possible during the entire year whenever the trekkers have free time.It is very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal. This trek is best suited for those who have less time for longer treks into the high snowy peaks. 

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and  You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2: Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

After a hearty breakfast, your sightseeing trip will begin. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide at your disposal.

We visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. After Boudhanath Stupa we visitPashupatinath Temple, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. We will also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is a collection of pagoda and shikhara–style temples grouped around a fifty-five window palace of brick and wood. The attraction of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the Lion gate, the Golden gate, the Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, art galleries, the Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) - 3 hrs

An early morning start takes us to the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for the 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla (2,804 m). On arrival at the airport, the guide will brief you and introduce our porters before we begin our trek towards Phakding (2,610 m).

After landing we have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2,713 m). The walking is easy. After passing through the small village of Ghat (2,550 m), it is a short walk to Phakding.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) - 5.5 hrs

We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing the majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering the Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar (considered the Gateway to Everest) is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes and bakeries. Namche is the biggest town along the Everest trail.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning air. We will trek a short distance to a museum that is celebrated for its exhibits of the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. We will also hike up the Syangboche Airport and the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest-placed hotels in the world. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas including Mt Everest.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3,860 m) - 5 hrs

The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains. We’ll have trekked to an altitude of 3,860 m upon reaching Tengboche. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or in the morning depending on how the trekking goes this day.

Day 7: Trek Back to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) - 4 hrs

Following the same trail, leaving the mountains behind us, our descent takes us from Tengboche (3,860 m) to the town of Namche Bazaar.

Day 8: Trek to Lukla (2,804 m) - 6 hrs

This is our last day of trekking as we return to Lukla where the trek began. We enjoy this time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. The afternoon is free, so you can wander about, relax and enjoy a hot shower! In the evening, have a few celebratory drinks and dance with your trekmates.

Day 9: Flight Back to Kathmandu

On your flight back to Kathmandu as you leave Lukla, you can enjoy some last-minute glimpses of the mountains. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our airport representative will transfer you to your hotel from the airport.

Day 10: Leisure Day and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu

This will be a spare day in Kathmandu after the tiring trekking program. You have the option to extend your trip. You can continue onto Chitwan jungle safari, rafting adventure, Kathmandu valley shopping tour, scenic Everest flight, mountain biking and other activities. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.

Day 11: Transfer to the International Airport for Your Final Flight Departure

The trip concludes – our airport representative will drop you to Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
